As one of the first graduates from the R.I.C.H program, I stand honored to write this review from the bottom of my heart. The R.I.C.H principles cultivated me into a productive citizen of the world. Success has been the standard and knowing I Mattered has been the foundation. The accolades achieved from being a Division 1 basketball player (full athletic scholarship), professional model and actor were some of the fruits that ripened from the seeds planted by Dr. Dawson and her R.I.C.H Program staff. Forever greatful, for being equipped with the blueprint for higher achievement. Thanks to your efforts, I will always know that I MATTER!!!
I am extremely thankful to be a graduate and currently, classroom facilitator of a community-based program that focuses on the development of character and social skills for minority children. RICH has helped me grow tremendously as a person. The 4 principles, which I’ve been utilizing since I joined the program back in elementary school, continue to encourage me to maintain a positive attitude and in turn project positive energy towards everything I set out to conquer in life. Without RICH I would NOT be the woman I am today. Real Talk!
I became a member of the RICH program during the third grade. At that time, I was on the verge of being expelled from school for my bad behavior. As I went through the program, the principles began to make a significant impact in my life. Eventually, I graduated from elementary school as valedictorian. I am now a graduating senior at Polytechnic University where I major in Computer Engineering. I aspire to go on to Law School and eventually establish my own law firm. Not only did RICH help straighten out my life, it released the potential for success that was hidden inside of me. I strongly recommend the RICH program!
The RICH program has helped me to be the young woman I am today. The program taught me life and academic lessons. Whether it was discussing our weekly reflective writings about how our week went at school, how we can improve our attitude in our daily life, or learning about successful leader and how to improve our writing and presentation skills. There was always something valuable to learn and use in our everyday lives to be exceptional leaders of society. The RICH program is great for providing those valuable life lessons and their are supportive facilitators and role models to guide you every step of the way. Excellent program for shaping young successful leaders. I would definitely recommend!
